So, like, there’s this totally rad event happening at Thistles Shopping Centre in Stirling. It’s called the Dinosaur Egg-stravaganza, and it’s gonna be epic! From Monday, April 7, to Sunday, April 20, the shopping centre will be transformed into a prehistoric paradise for all the dino-lovers out there.
Kids can unleash their inner archaeologist at the dino-themed beach, where they can dig for ancient dinosaur bones. This beach thingy will be open every day from 11am to 3pm. And get this, they’re only asking for a £2 donation for 30 minutes of play, with all the moolah going to Strathcarron Hospice. How cool is that?
But wait, there’s more! The event will also feature interactive shows and roaming performances, where you can learn all sorts of dino facts and get up close and personal with lifelike animatronics. Mr. Turnbull, the big cheese at Thistles, is super stoked about the whole shebang. He said, “We’re pumped to have Rex and his gang at Thistles this Easter for some prehistoric shenanigans. With the Easter hols being a special time for families and all, we’re chuffed to offer an event that’ll keep everyone entertained while supporting the awesome work of Strathcarron. Can’t wait to see families digging for bones, hanging out with baby dinosaurs, and enjoying all the activities we’ve got lined up.”
And the grand finale? Two days of live performances on Friday, April 18, and Saturday, April 19, featuring Rex the T-Rex and his adorable baby dino buddies. Rex is this massive 8ft tall, 17ft long animatronic T-Rex that’ll blow your mind.
For more deets, check out the Thistles shopping centre website. Oh, and here’s a little bonus for ya: if you park at the centre on those days, you might just find a dino egg on your car windscreen. Score! Ten lucky peeps will get free parking for the day, and one even luckier driver will snag free parking for the whole year. Talk about a sweet deal!
This whole shebang is also celebrating the reopening of Thistles Car Park. Don’t miss out on the dino-mite fun!
