A MAN made off empty handed following an attempted robbery at a Grangemouth pharmacy on Monday, February 6. Detectives are now appealing for information to help track down the suspect.

Man Attempts Robbery at Grangemouth Pharmacy

According to reports, the incident took place at a pharmacy located at Charlotte Dundas Court in Grangemouth. The suspect, described as a white male around 40-years-old, 5ft 5in tall, and of a slim build, entered the pharmacy and demanded money. Fortunately, he left empty-handed, but the incident has left the community on edge.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Detective Sergeant Chris Scott of Falkirk CID is urging anyone who was in the area at the time of the attempted robbery to come forward with any information they may have. The suspect was seen wearing a dark-colored buff pulled up to the bridge of his nose, a dark blue rain jacket with the hood up, light blue jeans, and white trainers. Authorities believe he was in the area for some time before the incident occurred.

“We are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area at the time or who have seen this male acting suspiciously to come forward,” said Detective Sergeant Scott. He added, “We are also keen to hear from anyone who was driving in the area at the time who may have dash cam footage or private CCTV that could be vital to our investigation.”
