Bazza Mills, a well-known photographer in the Scottish music scene, has been capturing moments for over a decade. His passion for photography and live music started at a young age, and he has since worked with some of the biggest names in the industry.

Starting out with a Kodak pocket Hawkeye Instamatic camera at the age of four, Bazza’s love for photography grew as he traveled and tried to capture every moment. His parents introduced him to live music early on, taking him to a Neil Diamond concert in Melbourne when he was just one year old.

As digital cameras became more accessible, Bazza began taking photos at concerts and eventually invested in an entry-level camera. His talent was quickly recognized when a shot he took at an Ugly Kid Joe concert was used by the band on social media.

Since then, Bazza has photographed iconic artists like Liam Gallagher, Sam Fender, Richard Ashcroft, and many more. His images have been used for album covers, tour posters, and social media posts by the artists themselves.

One of the highlights of his career was capturing The View’s final gig before their hiatus and taking an iconic shot of Gerry Cinnamon at TRNSMT. His work has been appreciated by both the artists and their fans, making his journey as a photographer even more rewarding.

Despite his success, Bazza remains humble and continues to support emerging artists in the music scene. He has formed friendships with local musicians like Kieran Fisher and has watched them evolve as artists over the years.

Looking back on his achievements, Bazza acknowledges that there is always room for improvement. While he has captured some incredible moments, he believes that there are only a handful of images that he is completely happy with.

As he continues to photograph his favorite artists and support the local music scene, Bazza’s passion for capturing life through his lens remains unwavering. From teaching at Lornshill Academy to becoming a respected photographer in the music industry, Bazza’s journey is a testament to following your passion and seizing every opportunity that comes your way.
