A man from Stirling had a medical emergency while on a trip to Turkey and now his family is trying to get him back home. Bob Carrick fell ill on September 21 and had to undergo surgery for internal bleeding. Unfortunately, he had complications after the operation and is now facing heart failure.

His family is struggling to cover the hefty medical expenses and have turned to fundraising for help. Christine Young started a campaign to raise money for a medical flight to bring Bob back home. She mentioned that Bob is not one to ask for help, but the situation has left them with no other choice.

The fundraiser has gained a lot of traction and has already surpassed its initial goal of £10,000, reaching £11,286 at the time of writing. Christine expressed her gratitude to everyone who has donated and asked for continued support in sharing the fundraiser to reach more potential donors.

The family still needs to raise more funds to cover the cost of the medical flight, which has been quoted at over £45,000. They are hopeful that with the help of the community, they will be able to bring Bob back safely and get him the care he needs.
