WEE COUNTY entrepreneurs are being urged to take advantage of the opportunities available to them during Forth Valley Business Week 2024.

The week, starting on Monday, September 16, will include a variety of events across Clacks, Stirling, and Falkirk.

From Monday to Friday, these events will delve into how the public, private, and third sectors can make the most out of a rapidly changing national landscape.

The week will begin with a Change Maker Summit event in Falkirk on Monday, followed by more events in Clacks.

Ceteris is the organizer of Forth Valley Business Week and will host the opening event, focusing on how businesses in the area can set themselves apart from larger cities and thrive.

Josie Saunders, CEO of Ceteris, stated: “The Forth Valley is facing an exciting challenge.

“With significant government investment creating new opportunities, there are great potential rewards if businesses, the public sector, and third sectors collaborate to adapt to and embrace the forthcoming changes.

“Forth Valley Business Week 2024 is a call to action for businesses of all sizes in the area, as well as for policymakers, to seize these opportunities.

“Our program of events for 2024 is both practical and ambitious, and we are excited to kick things off in September.”

Events during the week will highlight the opportunities available to the business community, despite the significant political changes taking place.

Workshops, seminars, and round table discussions will explore the potential for businesses to innovate and grow.

Topics covered will include planning during times of political change, addressing the ongoing challenges of climate change, embracing technological advancements, and driving change within organizations.

In addition to the main events, smaller gatherings will take place at the Business Gateway office in Alloa and at the Forth Valley Chamber of Commerce, as well as at the University of Stirling Scotland’s International Environment Centre.

Forth Valley Business Week 2024 is sponsored by construction company Robertson and Techscaler, the tech startup accelerator backed by Codebase and the Scottish Government.
