After completing his apprenticeship, MacInnes pursued further academic endeavors, obtaining an undergraduate degree and two master’s degrees from Glasgow Caledonian University. Armed with a strong educational background and a passion for learning, he joined Forth Valley College in 2007 as a lecturer, setting the stage for his eventual ascent to the position of vice principal in 2019.
